This recorder features normal and super voice/noise activation. Normal uses more battery and starts recording when sound is detected. Super uses less battery but starts recording 5 seconds after sound is detected.

*The adapter kit will not work with digital telephones or telephones with different jacks. The more telephones connected to a line the lower the callers voice will be recorded.
**Adjusting the quality of the recordings will affect battery life and memory.
